Donate Aasha Foundation

In 2002, Aasha began to support a shelter home for girls located in the Dharavi slum in Mumbai. From remodeling bathrooms, providing healthcare, and enrolling each girl in a middle-class private school, our support evolved into a successful foray in social engineering.

Today, these formerly destitute and abandoned girls are confident, well-adjusted young women who speak English, have excellent computer skills, and enjoy a range of extra-curricular activities. They are well-integrated students on track to attend college and lead productive, independent lives.

EY Educating Girls Initiative

EY is privileged to have some wonderful partners, directors, managers and staff who have responded generously to a simple appeal, made on behalf of these girls, to help them reach their potential to go to college and take their place in society.  This initiative has an immediate and direct impact on their lives and all donations go directly to education.  EY is Building a Better Working World and all our donors from EY look forward to welcoming the girls into the working world as the confident, secure and competent young women they are and will become.
